What to expect at a workshop
The workshops will run for three hours. You are welcome to attend for the final two hours if you can't make all three, but we encourage you to stay for the whole time if you can.
Here is an outline of how the event will run: Intro – 10 minutes Each meeting starts with welcome from the Facilitator who introduces the format, the panelists and other guests. Experts - 60 minutes of five to ten minute speaking slots Spoken submissions from pre-organised and invited experts. Opportunity for questions from workshop participants. [Short tea and coffee break] Workshop – 90 minutes Modelled on the Collaboration Cafe, four to eight tables are arranged around the space, each with a different question around how we can improve public broadcasting and media. Participants move around the tables to have discussions and brainstorm their thoughts. Wrap up – 15 minutes Panelists give a wrap up. Thank you's and goodbyes. |
